You are invited to a Garden Party with Mrs. Keating! Join us as we gather to care for and keep creating beauty in our Serene Hills garden with many native Hill Country plants. Research shows spending regular time gardening is good for mental and emotional well-being. Expect lots of laughing, friendship, sunshine, and maybe even a fairy spotting or two. We will learn about seed germination, soil care, planting, irrigation, and composting. We also will be discussing and observing wildlife that lives in the garden. Students may want to bring sun and insect protection. Please advise the instructor if your child has food allergies. We will celebrate with a true garden-party the last day of class and get to sample some of the edibles we cultivated. I can t wait to see what and how we grow together in this sacred space! Instructor: Heidi Keating Dates: Tuesdays, February 4 - March 31 (8 classes) **No class on 3/17 Location: SHE Garden and Room 233 Time: 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
