Girls in STEM: Drone Flying (Grades K-5)
Current statistics say that women make up less than 7% of the pilot workforce; and only 28% of the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math workforce as a whole. DroneTogether wants to encourage positive growth in both these areas. So, for all our young girls wanting to try flying and STEM classes together, have we got an exciting new class for you. DroneTogether is a hands-on STEM program that aims to teach the basics of flight and beyond. Our innovative class provides equipment and materials for every student to have a meaningful and safe opportunity to fly. Our company has spent years designing and enhancing a mastery-based curriculum that starts with very basic skills and builds upon itself to more complex tasks; including tricks, obstacles, team challenges, adventures and racing courses.
