Tips & Tricks for a Great 6th Grade Year (Grades 4-5) 1:00pm-4:00pm
Join our minicamp to learn the tips and tricks for a great year as a rising 6th grader in middle school. We’ll learn about: combination locks; lockers; balancing and maintaining seven periods a day including transition time; scheduling; homework, maintaining a backpack; Google; Google Drive; Chrome; Chrome Web Store; Google Play; Chrome extensions; Chrome accessibility tips and tricks; Gmail; synching calendars from Schoology; Schoology tips and tricks; and other useful tips and skills for a great 6th grade year as well as middle school. Please bring the following items to our minicamp everyday: a combination lock; your school issued Chromebook and charger in your backpack. The instructor is a LTISD middle school teacher with 27 years in LTISD, Ms. McMichael, Hudson Bend Middle School Reading & Dyslexia Specialist.
